We are proud to announce that long-time title officer and employee of Whatcom Land Title, Eric Moe, is retiring after being with us for 14 years.

After graduating from Oregon State University, Eric lived with his grandfather, Waldermar Spliid, in Portland, Oregon.  It was his grandfather who introduced Eric to the heads of Pioneer National Title 30 some years ago. This led him to eventually join the Whatcom Land Title family.

Eric plans to spend his retirement being active in the great outdoors and visiting old friends.  He loves to hike, swim, observe birds and wildlife, kayak, and enjoys a fine locally sourced meal and drink.

We will miss Eric’s positive attitude, knowledge, and incredible sense of humor as we wish him well on his next great adventure. As we move forward we’ll keep in mind one of Eric’s favorite quotes from Mahatma Gandhi, “Health is wealth, not pieces of silver and gold.”
