Jessica is a recent Western Washington University graduate with a Bachelor's degree in multidisciplinary studies with a focus in Design and English.
Jenn joined the Whatcom Land Team in August as an Order Entry Clerk for the Title Department.

With nearly 2 years of experience working in the title plant department of another title company, Whatcom Land Title is pleased to add Amanda to our Title Department in a Support Staff role where she will regularly assist our Title Officers.
Welcome back Anjolie York!
Anjolie has been a part of the title and excrow industry since 1989 and has worked in a variety of roles in several different parts of the country. She originally started working with Whatcom Land back in February of 2015, took a short hiatus, and has since returned to us as a Title Typist.

Lacey may very well be a familiar face to many as she was previously a Real Estate Assistant for her husband, Brent Robinson. Whatcom Land is pleased to welcome her as an Escrow Assistant - a role that her previous experience and passion for real estate will lend well to.

Recording Fee Increase
Effective October 9, 2015 recording fees will increase by $1.00 for all recorded documents. This comes after State Legislature passed House Bill 2195 which will use the collected funds for the Washington State Heritage Center. In 2012, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) issued rules and regulations that place liability on any lending institution for the actions of their service providers with respect to compliance with Federal consumer finance laws. In response to these rules and regulations as well as the many industry changes coming up in 2015, The American Land Title Association (ALTA) has developed standards known as Title Insurance & Settlement Company Best Practices or “ALTA Best Practices.” Whatcom Land Title Company is pleased to announce our compliance with these Practices and Procedures!

Michael Erickson, Whatcom Land Title Company's primary traveling closer, is more than just a notary service provider. He has been a part of the Whatcom County real estate industry for over 20 years having previously worked as a real estate agent and in Whatcom Land Title Company's escrow department. He is fully equipped to explain the documents being signed as well as answer any questions the signing parties may have. He has accommodated signings for clients at their homes, nursing homes, building sites and hospitals both during business hours as well as before and after hours and even on weekends!
